Your kitchen, your recipes
Local means local.
Your recipe text is calculated in your browser. TwoGrams has no recipe-upload endpoint, account or cloud recipe database.
What stays on your device
A temporary draft stays in this tab’s session storage as you move between tools; Clear recipe removes that draft. Recipes are added to your persistent shelf only when you press Save. Browser storage keeps the title, ingredients, measurement choices, notes and saved date on this device and browser. Private browsing, clearing site data or changing the website’s domain can make saved recipes unavailable. Export a backup before relying on them.
Restoring merges valid recipes. Existing recipes are not replaced. Review flags are recalculated with the current reference data.
Optional local activity counts
Activity counts are off by default. If enabled below, this browser stores event names and daily totals for page views by fixed page category, completed calculations, saving, copying, print requests and exports. A return on a later calendar day is recorded as repeat use. No recipe text, ingredient names, amounts, personal names, entered URLs or user identifiers are included. Only allowlisted event and page categories are counted, covering the most recent 90 calendar days. Older counts are removed the next time you use the site or view or export counts; data can remain in an unused browser until then. Nothing is sent to us.
Optional product analytics
Analytics are off until you choose “Allow analytics”. You can use every free tool without agreeing. If you allow, TwoGrams sends fixed tool and page identifiers, action names (open, start, complete, failure, copy, save or export), interface language, a broad screen-size class and coarse completion-time buckets to our Cloudflare service. Errors use fixed categories, never their messages. This helps us find useful tools and broken steps.
We do not send recipe text, titles, ingredients, quantities, prices, file contents, searches, full URLs, URL queries or fragments, referrers, country, raw IP addresses or device identifiers into this dataset. There are no visitor IDs, analytics cookies, session recording, keystroke collection or fingerprinting. Counts represent opted-in actions, not unique people.
Events update daily aggregate counters immediately; we keep no raw-event log. Production aggregates are removed after 90 days, and test aggregates after 7 days, with daily cleanup. Cloudflare recovery backups may retain deleted aggregates for up to 30 further days. Reports are private to the site owner through authenticated Cloudflare access. Analytics requests still pass through Cloudflare’s ordinary hosting network; we disable Worker request logging and do not store IP addresses in analytics or abuse counters.
Your allow/decline choice is stored only in this browser as a preference, with no identifier. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn optional analytics off. Change or withdraw your choice below at any time; previously combined anonymous counts cannot be linked back to your browser. Clearing site data removes the preference. This choice is separate from the local activity counter and advertising consent.
Optional aggregate analytics are off.
Preview, localhost, recognised automation and browsers with this exclusion enabled do not contribute to production totals. Automated tests use a separate test category. Abuse limits can discard events without affecting your calculations.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare serves this website over HTTPS and receives normal network request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser details and request time to deliver and protect the service. Its own privacy practices govern that processing; we do not promise that hosting logs never exist or that all network information stays on your device. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Fonts and images are hosted with the site. Google advertising, when enabled, runs only on the measurement guide as described below. Tool workspaces, this privacy page and exports do not load the Google ad tag. Third-party analytics trackers and payment widgets are not enabled. Optional first-party aggregate analytics are described above. Cloudflare may process operational and security information as the hosting provider. Links to reference publishers open their own websites, whose privacy practices apply there.
Advertising and external measurement
Advertising is currently switched off. This page does not load a Google advertising or consent tag. Optional product analytics use the separate choice above. Optional local activity counts are not advertising consent.
When advertising is enabled on the measurement guide, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons and IP addresses to deliver and measure ads, limit repeat ads, detect fraud and, where permitted by your choices, personalise advertising. Google and other vendors may use information from visits to this and other websites. We do not pass your recipe text, saved setups or entered costs to the advertising integration. These data stay on the ad-free tool pages.
Google’s Privacy & Messaging service provides the applicable European consent and US state privacy messages. Where consent is required, use the message to accept, reject or manage purposes and vendors. Reopen Privacy and cookie settings to change or withdraw your European choice. Where available, Do not sell or share my personal information opens Google’s US opt-out dialog. Google stores and communicates these choices through its consent system; TwoGrams does not replace them with the local activity-count checkbox. Saved choices can differ by browser or device, and clearing cookies may remove them.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s advertising and cookie practices. You can also manage Google ad personalisation in My Ad Center and find participating vendors’ choices at YourAdChoices. These external choices do not replace the site’s consent controls.
A free core, with clear boundaries
The core conversion tools and unwatermarked exports are free. Advertising is limited to the measurement guide when enabled and is labelled by the provider. Some public guides include labelled affiliate links, described below. Commercial relationships and privacy choices remain visible. There is no paid plan or checkout.
Contact TwoGrams
For privacy questions or a request about this website, email kout@me.com. Saved recipe data stays in your browser; do not send private recipe text or personal information unless it is needed to explain your request.
Recipe costs and reusable setups
Pack prices, pack quantities, currency, cost yield and a saved pan comparison can be stored with your recipe on this device. These values are entered by you; there are no live prices or cloud sync. Rename, duplicate or delete a setup from the saved shelf. Version 2 backups include setup data; older version 1 recipe backups still import. Cost sheets are free and have no ads.
Clearing your recipes
The saved-recipe panel lets you remove individual recipes or all saved recipes, with a confirmation. Exported files stay wherever you downloaded them; deleting local recipes does not delete those files. The temporary draft is separate from the saved shelf and remains until you clear the form or end the browser session.
